Bioconcept Overdentures Solutions
The OT Equator is a pioneering attachment system for implant-retained overdentures. Its key innovation is its exceptionally low profile, being one of the smallest attachments on the market at just about 2.1mm in height. This miniaturized design provides maximum space for prosthetic material and optimal hygiene access.
Manufactured from Grade 5 Eli titanium and finished with a hardened nitrided coating (approx. 1600 Vickers), it offers superior resistance to wear and plaque adhesion compared to standard materials. The system provides outstanding versatility, as the attachment is compatible with a wide range of major implant platforms, diameters, and connection types. A significant clinical advantage is its ability to compensate for implant divergences up to 80 degrees, often eliminating the need for angled multi-unit abutments and facilitating passive fit of the prosthesis.
Maintenance is simplified with color-coded retentive caps that allow easy in-office adjustment of retention force, ensuring long-term patient satisfaction and prosthetic stability.
